Indoor Plant Care Guide
Healthy plants start with a few simple habits. Care depends on the plant species, pot, season and conditions in your home, so always use the individual product's care notes as your starting point.
Light
Match the plant to the natural light in your room. Bright indirect light suits many indoor plants; low-light tolerant does not mean no light.
Watering
Check soil moisture before watering. Water needs change with temperature, light, pot size and season. Avoid following a fixed schedule for every plant.
Drainage and potting
Use a suitable potting mix and a container that supports the plant's drainage needs. Do not leave roots sitting in standing water unless the product is specifically designed for that growing method.
New plant checklist
- Choose a suitable spot before unpacking.
- Check soil moisture and the plant's care instructions.
- Allow the plant time to adjust to its new environment.
- Inspect leaves and stems regularly.
